Join a Mission That Matters

We’re looking for a highly skilled and mission-driven Geospatial Systems Engineer to join our elite team supporting a critical intelligence customer. If you're a seasoned Linux Administrator with a passion for cutting-edge technology and national security, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

As a Senior Systems Administrator (Tier 3), you'll be the go-to expert managing complex IT infrastructure that spans the globe. This isn’t your average desk job — you’ll solve high-stakes problems, contribute to a fast-moving mission, and collaborate with some of the best minds in the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the day-to-day administration of multiple RHEL servers, enterprise storage systems, and networked environments

  • Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point — diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues

  • Support and maintain mission-critical systems remotely across global sites

  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation

  • Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and uptime of server/storage infrastructure

  • Collaborate with engineers across contracts to produce secure, scalable system designs

  • Engage with stakeholders and SMEs to document and improve operational environments

  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support 24/7 operations

  • Travel as needed for system installation, repair, and disaster recovery

What You’ll Bring

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Linux/UNIX Systems Administrator in enterprise-scale, multi-site environments

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Strong documentation and communication skills

  • 8570 Compliant (Security+ or equivalent)

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

  • Willingness to support occasional after-hours operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Confident presenting to technical and non-technical leadership

  • Familiarity with customer-specific processes and production environments

  • Team-first attitude with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

  • Experience supporting or using geospatial tools and applications

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Deep expertise in Linux/Unix systems administration

  • Experience with:

    • Enterprise storage (NAS/SAN)

    • Oracle/SQL Databases

    • STIG hardening and DISA compliance

    • Certification & Accreditation (C&A) processes

    • Licensing and software asset management

    • VMWare and other virtualization platforms

    • Scripting (Perl, KSH, or similar)

What You'll Get in Return

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Large-scale system integration

    • Virtualized enterprise environments

    • LAN/WAN & firewall technologies

    • Backup and disaster recovery solutions (NetBackup, Cohesity, Veeam)

    • Next-gen Geospatial & AI-driven technologies (including GenAI and Agentic AI)

Why This Role?

  • Impact: Your work directly supports national defense and intelligence operations

  • Innovation: Work with cutting-edge tools in an ever-evolving technical landscape

  • Growth: Expand your skills across system architecture, data storage, virtualization, and AI

  • Community: Join a team of experts who are passionate about what they do and committed to supporting one another
